The collection International Modern Art includes works produced from the late 19th century onwards and reflects the style and philosophy of art from that period. Modern artists tended to look at art differently from their predecessors and used fresh ideas and new materials in the composition of their works. More recent works are sometimes referred to as Contemporary or Post Modern.
